PROGO RIVERSIDE TREKKING TOUR

Riverside Trekking is walking along the river bank. This sort of alternative tourism has presently become increasingly popular among foreign guests after making a short visit to Borobudur Temple in Magelang, Central Java.

There are many recommended places to go next after you visit Borobudur temple. One of the most exciting, impressive and memorable place worth visiting is Brangkal, Candirejo, about two kilometers south east of Borobudur. Here in this traditional village you can enjoy a fascinating Progo riverside trekking for one hour or more escorted by our friendly, and professional local guides.

Along the journey you will enjoy the beauty of the river views and observe what local people are doing in the river: fishing with traditional net, crossing the river by a bamboo raft and the like. You will also pass through a bamboo forest and feel the freshness of the village air.

You will also enjoy fresh papaya or young coco flesh cocktail in syrup , and sweet cakes made of tapioca boiled in palm sugar water namely Bajingan. For your body comfort, you can enjoy the soft fingers of the local people to massage you partly : head, hand, back, foot or full body.

If you are presently staying somewhere in Yogyakarta and interested to visit Borobudur temple in Magelang, make sure you will not miss this offer.

I was truly impressed with the river views especially the trekking.
